On 15 March in the morning hours, KRP officers found, on the premises of a gravel pit, a SEAT TERRA car previously stolen in Zgorzelec. After vandalizing the vehicle, the unknown perpetrators sank it in a body of water;
-On 26 March at midnight, a police patrol caught in pursuit burglars breaking into a POLONEZ passenger car parked on Broniewskiego Street. The four young burglars came from Legnica;
- During the night of 26–27 March, a billiard club on Zgorzelecka Street was burgled. After breaking the locks on the entrance doors, the unknown perpetrators entered the club, from which they took electronic equipment and heaters worth PLN 6 million;
-On 27 March, KRP district officers caught red-handed the perpetrator of numerous burglaries at allotment-garden sheds on Staroszkolna Street. On the same day, unknown perpetrators smashed the display window of the “AGD” shop on Asnyka Street and took a vacuum cleaner worth PLN 4.5 million from the display;
-On 28 March at 4:00 p.m., a fatal road accident occurred on route A 12. A MERCEDES passenger car traveling from the border skidded. The driver failed to regain control of the vehicle and hit a tree. The passenger died at the scene;
-On 13 April, unknown perpetrators broke into a shop selling metal goods on Plac Zamkowy. The losses amounted to PLN 20 million. On the same day, a police patrol detained the perpetrators of a break-in at a grocery shop on K. Miarki Street;
-On 16 April, the KRP duty officer was notified of a fire in the WPPP office building on Mickiewicza Street. Part of the upper floor was destroyed by fire. Three fire-service units took part in extinguishing it. Losses: approximately PLN 300 million.
