On 17 April, the “Nowe Śródmieście” TKKF Sports and Recreation Association in Bolesławiec organized a BADMINTON tournament. Teams from Primary Schools No. 2, 4, 5 and 8 entered the tournament. Individual entries were also accepted. The tournament was won by Primary School No. 4 (Jolanta Walczak, Jolanta Wieczorek, Grzegorz Lech and Wojciech Bączek). Primary School No. 5 took second place. Primary School No. 2 took third place. Individually, in the younger junior girls’ category, first place went to Agnieszka Rajmund (Primary School No. 8), while Krystyna Szwajkowska and Marek Bojdys were the winners in the youth category. Twenty-nine people took part in the competition. The chief referee was Józef Popek. The cup and prizes in the form of prints by M. Żołądź and calendars featuring his graphics were funded by the Bolesławiec Lovers’ Association.
