Pipeline gas is every rural woman’s dream, but for only a few can these dreams become part of everyday reality.
[...] an opportunity has arisen to bring gas to the village of Dobra, in connection with the city authorities’ planned gasification of the neighboring “Kwiatowe” housing estate in Bolesławiec.
Our plans are consistent with the provisions of the city and municipality’s general spatial development plans, as well as with the investment project being carried out by the Gasworks in Zgorzelec.
The construction of a shared pressure-reducing station is planned, also taking into account the current and ultimate gasification needs of the village of Dobra.
The project is to be financed through contributions from the Gasworks, the City Office and the Municipality Office toward the costs, proportionally to the planned gas consumption.
In accordance with the provisions of the municipality’s plan, adopted for the current year by the Municipal Council, joint efforts have been undertaken with the Gasworks in Zgorzelec to create the possibility of gasifying the village of Łaziska.
As part of the modernization of the low-pressure gas network in Bolesławiec, and in connection with the planned modernization of National Road No. 4 on the Bolesławiec–Motorway section, a section of the Bolesławiec–Kruszyn low-pressure gas pipeline is to be replaced. This will create an opportunity to supply gas through a medium-pressure pipeline to the village of Łaziska, should noticeably improve the gas pressure in Kruszyn’s gas network, and enable its further expansion in the future.
It is to be hoped that the Gasworks in Zgorzelec will make use of the Municipal Council’s financial declaration concerning its contribution to the costs of the investment projects outlined above, ensuring their full implementation in the current year.
