For more than two years, the Association of Owners of Apartments in Municipal and Workplace Buildings has existed and operated in Bolesławiec. It is located at 12 c m 2 Zygmunta Augusta Street (tel. 37-95 and 33-50, 43-31) and has 50 members.
The Association’s purpose is to protect the rights of owners and the interests of the Association’s members, particularly the notarized agreements and the conditions set out in those agreements concerning apartment owners.
There are more than 600 owners of apartments in municipal and workplace buildings in Bolesławiec, and there will be even more in the near future, as council and workplace apartments will be sold on a mass scale.
The Association has the right to express opinions on all public matters, not only local but also nationwide, and to initiate various activities related to housing and residential construction. It may put forward its candidates for various government bodies as well as representative and elective institutions. The Bolesławiec association has established contact with the Lower Silesian Association of Apartment Owners in Wrocław and maintains active contact with the National Housing Movement in Warsaw. In May this year, P. Stefan Czernek, a member of the Bolesławiec Association, took part in a seminar organized by the National Housing Movement.
The Association’s Board asks all current and future apartment owners to take an interest in the Association and join its ranks. Active people are needed.
