There is a school in our town of which many residents of Bolesławiec are proud to be graduates. I am referring to the W. Broniewski General Secondary School, once colloquially known as the eleven-year school because it combined primary and secondary classes from first through eleventh grade.
We find its graduates everywhere; today, many hold responsible positions in our town, while many others are somewhere in the wider world, in other cities.
Yet they always return to the town where they were born or spent their youth. They return, if sometimes only in their memories, to their school, the old, good-natured building, and to the Teachers and Form Tutors thanks to whom they acquired knowledge and learned how to live.
In 1963, another group of graduates left the walls of the Secondary School—students taught by H. Jędrzejewski, M.A., and Józef Głąba, M.A. Soon, 30 years will have passed since that day! This is an excellent opportunity to renew old friendships. We therefore INVITE all graduates of classes 11a and 11b—class of 1963—to take part in the FIRST REUNION, which we would like to organize at the turn of May and June 1493.
We do not have all the addresses and do not know your current surnames. We hope that you will contact us as soon as possible and declare your participation in the meeting. The SELF-APPOINTED ORGANIZING COMMITTEE, consisting of Barbara Szewerda, Lucyna Napiórkowska, Wera Kozłowska, and Robert Kowalski, will welcome everyone willing to help make this undertaking a reality!
For further information, please contact Lucyna Fijałkowska at the Major H. Sucharski Vocational Schools Complex in Bolesławiec, 6 Komuny Paryskiej Street, telephone numbers 40-00 and 40-09, or private number 20-93.
SO, SEE YOU THERE!
