The Nationwide Youth Tourism and Sightseeing Tournament has a 20-year tradition and many winners. For the first time, the honors went to the team from Primary School No. 5 in Bolesławiec, which gave its rivals no chance in the competition held in Kielce.
The road to success was not easy: participants had to complete eight events, with the most points available in the sightseeing competition entitled “About Poland and the Kielce Voivodeship.” The demanding jury also rewarded topographical knowledge and even the ability to provide first aid in emergencies. There was also an orienteering race, a cycling obstacle course, individual achievements in qualified tourism and more.
The young people from Bolesławiec performed excellently—perhaps even earning an A+ by today’s school grading scale.
They were unrivaled, thanks in large part to their supervisor, ROMAN BINKIEWICZ, who prepared the team for the competition with dedication, passion and professionalism.
Last year, the representatives of “the Five” had already come close to winning the Polish championship, finishing in second place.
This year, they proved to be the best. Congratulations!
Success of School No. 5. The Best in the Country
