In the May issue of “Głos Bolesławca,” we published a list of those supporting TMB’s activities. We remind you that, thanks to the generosity of private individuals, as well as wholesalers, shops and companies, we were able to publish the local newspaper and reissue M. Żołądź’s portfolio of prints “Bolesławiec in Graphics” (already on sale at an attractive price). We are currently “preparing” a unique portfolio, “Bolesławiec and the Surrounding Area,” as well as calendars and a book—a monograph on Bolesławiec.
The list of sponsors in this issue is headed by BFFiA “Polfa.” To the Management and Works Council, together with our wishes on the occasion of the 40th anniversary, we send our heartfelt thanks for donating 10,000,000 złoty (!) for publishing purposes.
We obtained substantial support for our activities from many other sources, with the “magical” amount donated last month by Mr. Zdzisław Oszczęda having been decisively “surpassed.” Apart from “Polfa,” Mr. Zdzisław was “outdone” by Ms. Alicja Nebesna (Galant haberdashery shop on Asnyka Street), followed by the Mining and Energy Production and Assembly Enterprise “Famex” and Mr. Jan Gałka (the “Minimarket” Furniture Shop).
And here is the rest of the list of kind and generous supporters: PPU “Com-bol,” Drogeria (T. Niewęgłowska and H. Skoczyńska), the petrol station at 1 Kościuszki Street, “Las Vegas” Confectionery-Pizzeria (G. Owsiannik and K. Kubicka), Rudolf Gołębiowski, Tobacco Products Wholesaler (E. Kret), the Multi-Industry Enterprise “Techbol” (which also subscribed to our newspaper for its customers), Optical Services (D. Ziomek, for the second time), PHU “U Andrzeja,” Civil Partnership “Lumex,” Foreign Travel Agency “Adrian-Tours” (B. Dolecki), PPUH “Kampol.”
We sincerely thank all the donors. We intended to publish a list of everyone who helped us distribute the first issue of “Głos.” Unfortunately—and this is something to be glad about—the list is too long. So, without naming them, we thank the female and male students of the Medical Secondary School, the Technical School and the Building Schools Complex, the Mechanical Technical School and the General Secondary School.
We also thank the ladies from the “Piast” and PUS hotels, as well as the ladies from various shops, kiosks and bars. The circle of kind and friendly residents of Bolesławiec continues to grow.
Keep it up!
