we have something to tell you...
When we welcomed the new school year at Primary School No. 10 in Bolesławiec, we learned that the theme for the entire year would be "Deepening our knowledge of our own surroundings and region"... All the students, together with the teachers and the principal, Mr Kornel Filipowicz, who is a great enthusiast of our city, began acquiring knowledge in various fields concerning our city and region. Ideas sprang up like "mushrooms after the rain": we collected old postcards, held city-knowledge competitions, created a model of the city, and students wrote poems... The "My Roots" competition will make it possible to keep family chronicles and gather exhibits for the Family Museum"...
The most important thing is that all of us are deepening our knowledge of the city and our families; we can see how beautiful our city is and see our place in it...
You probably want to know who is reporting this to you? It is us – Class VII c – we discussed this during Polish lessons and wondered what role "Głos Bolesławca" plays in our city. The conclusions were impressive, but this magazine is valuable to us because we can express ourselves in its pages. "Głos Młodych" is a column where we can speak out, and we will be happy to use it. We invite you too. Class VII c, Primary School No. 10 named after J. Kusociński, Bolesławiec
We are pleased to print the text by the students of Primary School No. 10 and, on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of your school, wish you and your teachers every success, as well as the principal, M.A. Kornel Filipowicz.
