On 8 June 1996, the II HDK Football Tournament was held on the sports field on Rajska Street. Four teams entered the tournament. The team from the “Bolesławiec” Ceramic Works proved to be the best and received a beautiful trophy for its victory. The remaining places were as follows:
-2nd place – the team from BFMM “POLFA”,
-3rd place – the team from PPKS Bolesławiec
-4th place – the team from MZK Bolesławiec.
All the teams received ceramic trophies from Mr Sławomir Leszczyński, vice-president of the Local PCK Board.
After the games ended and the trophies were presented, the organizers invited everyone to hot sausage and a mug of beer.
We would like to sincerely thank Mr Stanisław Matwiejczyk and Mr Dariusz Hałka for refereeing the matches free of charge.
