For nearly 40 years, the academic Olympiad movement has existed and developed at our school. In addition to traditional Olympiads and subject competitions, such as history, physics, chemistry, and knowledge of Poland and the contemporary world, new ones are emerging, including the Religious Knowledge Olympiad, the Human Rights Knowledge Olympiad, and the “Polish Parliamentary System” competition.
At Władysław Broniewski I General Secondary School in Bolesławiec, approximately 30% of students participate annually in school-level competitions and Olympiads. Approximately 10% of the school’s students qualify for the district and voivodeship levels.
Teachers serving as mentors provide young Olympiad and competition participants with substantive and practical assistance, focusing on guiding talented students and creating incentives for effective work. The culmination of this work is the satisfaction of success.
Every year, at the turn of April and May, a ceremonial assembly is held at which Olympiad and competition winners, finalists, and participants, along with their mentors, are the main protagonists.
