The palace-and-park complex in Kliczków, situated on plot no. 207 with an area of 5.86 hectares, is a historic site shaped over the course of the 16th–19th centuries. After World War II, the complex was used by the Forest District. At the turn of 1956–57, it was taken over for use by the Polish Army, and from 1982 by Wrocław University of Science and Technology, which intended to adapt the site as a Creative Work Centre. For this purpose, the university carried out renovation work, which was later suspended due to a lack of funds. In 1989, Wrocław University of Science and Technology transferred the complex to the State Treasury—specifically, to the Osiecznica Municipal Office, which in 1990 sold it to the production and trading company "Integer" sp. z o.o. from Wrocław for PLN 450 million, while the palace grounds were transferred under perpetual usufruct. The company planned to adapt the castle as a medical and sanatorium centre and for hotel purposes. A letter sent by Integer to the municipal office in February 1992 indicates that some renovation work had been completed, including repairs to the roof truss and roofing, replacement of the electrical and lightning-protection systems, and repairs to the sewage system.
The complex was also secured against fire hazards and further deterioration. The letter also contains information on design work, which resulted in three alternative concepts for adapting the palace complex for hotel use. In 1992, the Integer company, represented by Jerzy Ludwin, transferred ownership of the complex and the perpetual usufruct of the land to the Wrocław limited liability company "Saba Hotels Resorts," represented by Magdalena Piasecka–Ludwin. The two companies cooperate with each other and are carrying out renovation work on the site.
