The Przejęsławianki folk ensemble has achieved numerous successes. They have won many provincial and even nationwide competitions.
The ensemble has recently been performing with a somewhat reduced line-up (Michalina Mrozik, Helena Owczarek, Stanisława Latawiec, Marzena Mrozik, Stefania Oślak, Janina Bieńko); however, this has had no significant impact on its artistic standard. Its first-place finish in the provincial competition entitled Carol Singers, held on 27 January this year at the Bogatynia Cultural Centre, is evidence of this. Thirteen ensembles from the Jelenia Góra Voivodeship took part.
Przejęsławianki performed a programme of traditional carols and presented traditional Christmas Eve dishes, for which they received one of two equal first prizes.
Congratulations, and we wish you continued artistic success.
