I love you, Grandma and Grandpa, very much; I will always love you, and your dearest love I will win for myself... This was the motto accompanying the Grandmother’s and Grandfather’s Day celebration held on January 22, 1996, at the Primary School in Nowa Wieś Kraśnicka. To the great joy of the grandchildren and the teaching staff, almost all the invited guests came to the celebration. The children prepared gifts in the form of a “slipper” for small items, which were presented after the greetings had been given and the traditional “Happy Birthday!!!” had been sung. During the recitation of the poems, more than one tear glistened in the eyes of grandmothers and grandfathers.
