Everything indicates that Bolesławiec will gain a further 2,000 new telephone lines later this year. The condition is the construction of a telephone exchange with concentrators and a local network. This will not solve all the problems or meet subscribers’ current needs (more than 3,000 applications have been submitted), so further progress in expanding the exchange and telephone network is planned for 1997.
