In December last year, the State Music School held a Knowledge Contest on Fryderyk Chopin. It was the second contest devoted to the work of Polish composers (the previous one focused on the work of Witold Lutosławski). The students were prepared for the contest by theory teacher mgr Kazimierz Biszko.
They demonstrated the best knowledge of the composer and the history of the Chopin Competitions, taking:
1st place – Iwona Kubina
2nd place – Elżbieta Mielec
3rd place – Ramona Słobodzian.
Congratulations, and we wish you many successes.
