Increasingly often, police reports record assaults whose perpetrators are teenagers, while their victims are younger peers. Recently, 10-year-old resident of Głogów Dawid P. was approached in the stairwell of a building on al. Wolności by a girl and a boy approximately 12 years old, who overpowered him and took his wallet containing more than PLN 300,000.
That same day, police officers from Lubin detained two 14-year-old girls—Katarzyna S. and Ewa P.—and 15-year-old Agnieszka K., who had attempted to extort money or cigarettes from 12-year-old Anna W. When the younger girl refused, they beat her.
