Success has many fathers, while failure remains an orphan... We invoke this folk wisdom as evidence of the merit of Bolesławiec Deputy Mayor Jan Jasiukiewicz, who “secured” for us, from environmental-protection funds, the considerable—even difficult to imagine—sum of 22 billion (old) zlotys for the construction of a landfill in Trzebień. This is an indisputable success, requiring extraordinary action, sound justifications and professionalism.
We will return to the details in a month. Today, it is fitting to thank the hero of the efforts to obtain the money, crowned with complete success. The point is to apportion the credit fairly, but we will justify this thesis in an editorial conversation with Mr Jan Jasiukiewicz. Today, we offer our well-deserved congratulations.
