On Monday, 26 May, the Provincial Final of the TP SA Cup named after Marek Wielgus was held on the Olympic Stadium’s training fields in Wrocław. Eight teams took part in the tournament: TOP Talent Wrocław, Szkółka Piłkarska Wrocław, Górnik Wałbrzych (participating outside the tournament standings), Stal Chocianów, Lechia Dzierżoniów, Zagłębie Lubin, UKS Gryfów Śląski and UKS Kusy Bolesławiec.
UKS Kusy lost 0–4 to Zagłębie Lubin. The match against Stal Chocianów ended with a 5–1 victory for the Bolesławiec team. The goals for our team were scored by Fyrtak, Dobiech, Bernacki, Mikietiuk and Małecki. Unfortunately, UKS’s match against Szkółka Piłkarska Wrocław ended 1–4, with Dobiech scoring for the Bolesławiec team. The young footballers from Bolesławiec finished their tournament campaign without reaching the semifinals, mainly because of fitness shortcomings.
However, the trip to Wrocław was not a waste of time. The boys had the opportunity to face peers from the best clubs in the province. Zagłębie Lubin won the tournament, finishing ahead of Lechia Dzierżoniów and UKS Gryfów Śląski.
