The finale of The Play City, a project by the Bolesławiec Cultural Centre, takes place this Friday, 16 May. The project will culminate in the Open-Air Review of Amateur Theatre Groups. The participants in the review will be assessed by a jury composed of: Urszula Frąszczak-Matyjewicz (cultural animator, director and founder of the Tygrys Ogłuszony Domem group), Radosław Gajewski (ceramic artist and commissioner of this year’s International Ceramic and Sculpture Symposium) and Dariusz Miliński (visual artist and cultural animator). Below is the schedule for the The Play City finale:
- 16:10 Chimera Fire Group fireshow (market square)
- 18:00 “Wedding Variations,” performance by members of the Song and Dance Ensemble (viaduct)
- 20:30 Presentation by Łukasz “Luki” Ludwikowski, “from the series postmodern deliberations on the nature of existence” (steps at Piłsudski Square)
- 21:00 “Consolidated Contemporaneity (unusual dance)” – Joanna Bednarczyk (market square)
- 22:00 “About the One Who Decided to Stand Up” – the OFFensywa group (market square)
- 22:30 “Theatre of Two Worlds” – OFFset: Grupa Trzymająca Władzę & Przyjaciele (market square, Orange pub)
- 23:20 “(Ł)uszkowe Stories” will be presented by Roman Pokojowy (car park in front of the Old Theatre).
