On Wednesday, BKS Bobrzanie Bolesławiec played the semi-final of the Jelenia Góra zone Polish Cup. Their opponents were Olimpia Kowary—the leaders of Class A (sixth tier). The Bolesławiec team played another poor match. In the first half, our team created one dangerous chance. Mielnik shot at the visitors’ goal, but the goalkeeper caught the ball without difficulty. In the 38th minute, BKS’s reserve goalkeeper Łokaj made a mistake. The Bolesławiec goalkeeper threw the ball straight at the feet of Szujewski. He took advantage of the gift and gave his team the lead.

In the 60th minute, Szajwaj converted a loose ball to make it 1–1. In the remainder of the match, the Bolesławiec team were wasteful. Inaccurate passes, lost balls and off-target shots failed to settle the game. No goals were scored in extra time either, so the match was decided by a penalty shootout.
