Bolesławiecki Ośrodek Kultury has proposed reviving the Film Discussion Club, which has not existed for more than 20 years. This Friday at 5:00 p.m., an organizational meeting will be held in the lobby of Kino Forum. Everyone interested in establishing a Film Discussion Club is invited to attend.
According to information provided to Boleslawiec.org by Iwona Bojko of BOK, the Film Discussion Club would make it possible to screen archival films and select films thematically, including contemporary cinema. The condition is to gather a group of people who would want to create such a club.
Everyone who complains about the lack of entertainment in Bolesławiec and the shallowness and commercial nature of the films offered by Kino Forum will be able to suggest their own titles and foster film culture in the city. The obvious prerequisite is willingness, and above all, taking concrete action.
