The changes at the local television station attracted the interest of the women from the Carpe Diem club. The retired teachers and education employees invited Alicja Burchardt, president of the Bolesławiec television station, to discuss, among other things, the station’s new offerings. The club members warmly welcomed the head of “Azart-Sat” and listened to information about the programmes being broadcast.

During the hour-long meeting, Alicja Burchardt spoke about the recent changes to the programming offer. She was accompanied by cameraman and editor Jan Samerdak. The meeting confirmed that the retired teachers are pleased with the quality of the local television station. Some of the women noted, however, that they do not always watch the programmes, and that the reason they often turn on “Azart-Sat” is information about their grandchildren’s performances. Alongside the many positive opinions, some less pleasant comments could also be heard, relating to the high fees for cable television. However, the television station’s president, Alicja Burchardt, explained that the cable television fees are set by its owner, Leszek Burchardt, not by her.
