On 1 April, the jury (comprising chairwoman Maria Matyjewicz, Bożena Kuchmacz and Barbara Deberna) assessed the works submitted for the third part of the regional art competition “Natural and Cultural Values of Lower Silesia”, organized by the Municipal Culture and Sports Centre in Gromadka.
The competition entries were to depict natural or historic sites that can be encountered in Lower Silesia. The only condition for taking part in the competition was age: participants had to be at least 5 years old. The format of the works was unrestricted.
The organizers received many diverse works. More than 600 people from 47 institutions in Bolesławiec, Legnica, Polkowice, Zgorzelec, Głogów, Lubań, Jelenia Góra and Złotoryja counties submitted entries. A total of 127 winners were selected. The full list of competition winners is available on the website of the Gromadka GOKiS.
The awards and certificates ceremony, along with the opening of the post-competition exhibition, will take place on Friday, 18 April, at 3:30 p.m. at GOKiS in Gromadka.
