The match between the teams from Bolesławiec and Jelenia Góra began with a 15-minute delay. Just after the referee’s whistle, fans probably supporting Śląsk Wrocław jumped over the wall into the stadium and attacked BKS supporters. The match was stopped and the police intervened. Squads equipped with batons and tear gas separated those involved in the fight. The match resumed shortly afterward, but the stands remained tense.

In the twentieth minute of the match, the visitors took the lead. Łukasz Kowalski scored for Jelenia Góra from a free kick. Robert Nitarski missed an opportunity to score for our team. His shot went past the left post. The first half ended with Karkonosze leading 1–0. The game was even, although not of a high standard.

During the match, troublemakers gathered at the Shell station and near Tesco. The police managed to prevent a brawl. One person was documented for firing firecrackers. Groups of troublemakers were also checked in other parts of the city.

Immediately after the break, the visitors scored another goal. BKS defender Paweł Demczar handled the ball and the referee awarded a penalty. Maciej Wojtas scored. After conceding the second goal, BKS tried to score a goal to get back into the match. Piotr Stańko missed his chance. His shot was too weak to surprise the visiting goalkeeper. In the 87th minute, Tomasz Krzywonos scored for BKS from 12 metres. Karkonosze then began to feel uncertain. In the closing stages, our players created many chances to equalise, but no further goal was scored. The match ended with Jelenia Góra winning 2–1.
