On Saturday, BKS Bobrzanie played against Górnik Wałbrzych. From the start of the match, the Bolesławiec players tried to impose their style of play. Unfortunately, our footballers played poorly. Inaccurate passes, ill-considered moves and a lack of shots on goal made the match boring. In the first half, our team threatened the visitors’ goal only once. Towards the end of the first half, Chrystian Serkies shot at Górnik’s goal, but the visiting goalkeeper saved without difficulty.

In the 48th minute, the visitors scored. Robert Borkowski was credited with the goal. This pleased the Górnik Wałbrzych fans, who were cheering on their team. Two minutes later, the visitors could have made it 2:0, but the ball went into the net after a foul on the Bolesławiec goalkeeper. The referee disallowed the goal. For the rest of the match, the Bolesławiec side’s play could be compared to “banging one’s head against a wall”. Nothing worked for our footballers. In added time, Chrystian Serkies. scored the equaliser. A fine shot under the crossbar was the only consolation for the disgusted supporters. BKS Bobrzanie Bolesławiec drew 1:1 with Górnik Wałbrzych. Our team moved up to fourth place in the table.

After the match, Bolesławiec coach Marcin Ciliński did not hide his dissatisfaction: "I would not like to comment on this match at all. I believe it was the weakest of the matches I can remember. What concerns me more is not the result, but the play. I have never favoured this kind of football: kick and run. I have no explanation today. There was a normal training cycle during the week, with training focused on playing at home and on positional attacking play. During the week, some players from the starting lineup did not train because their work schedules were arranged that way and it was not possible to get them away from work. This was visible in basic football elements such as controlling the ball and passing to a teammate. Perhaps this is one of the reasons for such a performance".
