On Saturday, February 23, at 6:00 p.m., an evening of sung poetry—“With This Song I Call to You, Lord”—will be held at the Pegaz club. The performers will be Agata Wagner, Ania Szaja, Malwina Musiałek, Pamela Banaszak, Ola Górna, Marcin Respondek, Bartek Frączkiewicz, Łukasz Ludwikowski and Andrzej Kosterenko—the members of a group supervised by Anna Frączkiewicz. The group will present outstanding pieces set to texts by Bogdan Loebl in new blues and jazz arrangements. Admission is free.
Bogdan Loebl (born in 1932) is a poet and prose writer, and above all the author of the lyrics to many brilliant songs by Tadeusz Nalepa, Dżem and Niebiesko-Czarni. Saturday’s concert will take place as part of the “Sung Poetry and More…” series, which presents the work of outstanding artists.
