The accident occurred in Hurghada, Egypt. Bolesławiec resident Robert Ziemba was there with his 18-year-old son and friends from a diving club. He and a female friend rented a motorcycle locally. During the ride, they collided with a truck. “The motorcycle driver died, while the passenger was injured,” Lesław Werpachowski, the Polish consul in Cairo, told Radio Zet.
The 40-year-old leaves behind two children. His son is still in Egypt. His wife and their 7-month-old child are staying in Bolesławiec.
