On Mondays, city and county councillors representing LiD, along with members of the Alliance and FMS, will hold office hours at the SLD headquarters at 15 Opitza Street. The activists are waiting for residents who need help with matters related to local government.

“Our intention was to organize a free consultation point for people who have problems handling any matter with local-government authorities, for example in the case of rent arrears. The LiD councillors on duty tell people whom they should contact, while FMS members help draft letters to local government representatives. Residents often do not know where to turn, what documents they need or how to proceed, and our advice is intended to help them with this,” says Michał Banaś, chairman of FMS in Bolesławiec County.

“We hope that our initiative will help many residents of Bolesławiec County who, despite their strong willingness and commitment, often encounter various obstacles. The people at our consultation point will help them overcome these obstacles,” adds Paweł Zieliński, FMS secretary.

The point will be open every Monday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
