On 1 February, City Hall employees approved the quality of the work involved in installing windows and doors in the building housing the children’s ward of the Healthcare Complex on Jeleniogórska Street. The investment was carried out using funds allocated in the budget of the Municipality.

The ward where the youngest patients are treated is located in a separate building on the hospital complex grounds. One of the concerns of the children’s ward staff was the low temperatures in the rooms. Thanks to the replacement of the windows and doors throughout the building, it has become considerably warmer. “The children are no longer cold and do not have to lie in bed covered up to their noses,” says ward head Waldemar Krajewski.

A normal temperature in the rooms also makes the medical staff’s work easier, including conducting medical examinations and performing nursing and therapeutic procedures.
