The event in Gromadka during the 16th Finale was hosted by Jerzy Góralewski and Malwina Nowak. Irena Góralewska was the commander-in-chief of the Orchestra headquarters. The event could not have taken place with such an exceptional artistic setting and on such an organizational scale without the help of Gromadka Commune Head Dariusz Pawliszczy and the director of the local GOKiS, Bożena Kuchmacz.
The amount that the Orchestra headquarters will donate to the treatment of children with laryngological diseases is nearly half again as high as the PLN 6,500 collected last year. The highest amount at the auctions was obtained for a gilded spur donated by former Minister of National Defence Jerzy Szmajdziński. The generous donor paid PLN 600 for the spur and... put it up for auction again. As a result of the collection conducted by soldiers from a military unit in Bolesławiec, the WOŚP foundation's account was increased by PLN 750.
The auctions held during the 16th Finale were interspersed with a rich artistic programme. Children from primary schools in Gromadka, Modła and Osła performed. The Yamaha Music School from Bolesławiec and the Gong instrumental ensemble from the GOKiS in Gromadka prepared special programmes for the occasion. The performance by the Bolesławiec Municipal Brass Band was enthusiastically received. Younger members of the audience enjoyed a concert of sung poetry performed by Tomasz Frąckiewicz and Bartłomiej Ludwikowski, as well as capoeira and breakdance demonstrations.
The dancers of the National Dance Club were rewarded with ovations after performing one of the dance routines from the show set to music by Piotr Rubik. At the end of the 16th Finale, the Jutrzenka Song and Dance Ensemble and the gathered audience sang a choral “Happy Birthday” to this year's Orchestra headquarters. The event concluded with the symbolic Light to Heaven, while the hosts said goodbye to the Finale audience with the Orchestra's “siema!”
