This year, the Organizing Committee of the 16th WOŚP Finale in Gromadka will help children with laryngological conditions. Equipment for diagnosing and treating hearing impairments, as well as equipment for saving the youngest children in emergencies, will be purchased. In the municipality, 22 volunteers with special IDs will collect donations outside churches in Gromadka, Nowa Kuźnia, Wierzbowa, Modła, Osła, Krzyżowa and Różyniec, as well as during the event at GOKiS. The “Finale with a head” will be held in the auditorium of the Municipal Culture and Sports Centre in Gromadka at 9 Szkolna Street. It starts at 2:00 p.m.
Artistic performances during the finale will be presented by: the Axel group from Gromadka, primary-school pupils from Osła, Modła and Gromadka, the Gong group (Gromadka GOKiS), the “Yamaha” Music School from Bolesławiec, the Bolesławiec Municipal Wind Orchestra, the Bolesławiec Cultural Centre, the Youth Cultural Centre from Bolesławiec, and the “Jutrzenka” Song and Dance Ensemble (Bolesławiec GOKiS). At 8:00 p.m., the light to the sky will shine.
In addition to the performances, auctions of unique items will be held, including the book “Commando.pl. The Unknown History of the 62nd Special Forces Company of the Polish Army,” signed by Jarosław Rybak (the author), Andrzej Żdan (the main subject), Aleksander Szczygło (former head of the Ministry of National Defence), Mieczysław Kopacz (a former soldier of the 62nd Special Forces Company from Bolesławiec) and Marzena Mróz (the publisher). There will also be a raffle, and visitors will be able to taste military pea soup and a wide variety of cakes.
The School Complex in Gromadka, meanwhile, invites snooker and billiards fans to competitions to be held at the 14.70 Billiards and Snooker Club. The symbolic participation fee will be donated to the 16th WOŚP Finale.
The organizers warmly invite everyone to take part in this year’s WOŚP finale in Gromadka! It is worth attending, especially since there will be no finale in Bolesławiec. So far, no organizing committee has registered there.
