As part of the “Zero Tolerance for Violence at School” campaign, the Inter-School Sports Centre organized a trip for young people to a basketball game in Liberec. Young basketball players from Bolesławiec and Gromadka, who train at the Starbol club every day, went to the ULEB Cup game between PGE Turów Zgorzelec and KK Zadar.
The young people watched a top-level sporting event. The game was played on 18 December in the 7,000-seat “Arena” hall in Liberec. After a thrilling game and overtime, the team from Zgorzelec won 77–72.
This was not the first trip organized by the MOS as part of the “Zero Tolerance for Violence at School” program. In November, as part of the same program, young people from Bolesławiec, Gromadka, Osiecznica and Nowogrodziec watched an Ekstraklasa football game between Zagłębie Lubin and Górnik Zabrze.
