During this year’s “Rock Blok w BOK” Music Band Review, the event organizers discovered hidden rock angels among its participants—passionate about making music and helping others. Good intentions alone, however, are not enough. To turn words into action, Bolesławiecki Ośrodek Kultury recruited an Army of Rock Angels.
The Army of Angelic String-Bashers and Racket-Makers will descend from heaven on BOK on December 29 and play the charity concert “Rock Angel”. The following will perform:
- Headshot
- Dead People
- Messence
- Chimera
- the group consists of: Krzysztof Sokołowski, Grzegorz Ziółkowski, Piotr Kurcio.
The proceeds from the event will go to Antoś Kasperek, a 3-year-old Bolesławiec resident who has developed metachromatic leukodystrophy (a halt in, followed by regression of, psychomotor development). Within one month, the boy stopped walking and speaking. In Poland, the disease is practically incurable. The only hope for Antoś is expensive treatment abroad.
