Among the works by students of the Młodzieżowy Dom Kultury are pieces created under the guidance of Katarzyna Sas, Magdalena Konieczna and Joanna Mysłek-Michnowska. There are stained-glass works, candleholders and decorations for the Christmas table. There are also plenty of glass mosaics, paintings on glass, batiks, prints and ceramic works, lanterns, soft toys and all kinds of hanging decorations—in short, everyone will find something for themselves.
Everything is made with artistry and originality, often requiring great precision and patience. Literature enthusiasts can also reach for “Tekstyl,” which features works by children and young people from the literary workshop led by Katarzyna Pranić.
The prices of the works range from 5 to 25 zł. Works by MDK students, available at bargain prices, can still be purchased tomorrow.
