The altercation took place on the night of November 18–19, during a gathering of neighbors in one of the apartments on Kościuszki Street. Three perpetrators brutally beat two residents of Bolesławiec—a father and son. Both victims suffered numerous injuries, and both have broken noses. One of the attackers beat the victims with a metal pipe. Interestingly, the brawl was started by the 13-year-old himself. Police detained him directly after the beating.
During the investigation, police established the identities of the other two perpetrators, aged 20 and 37. They were detained on the morning of November 19, the day after the assault. Both attackers had repeatedly come into conflict with the law. The 13-year-old resident of Bolesławiec will be dealt with by the juvenile court.
