On Saturday, the BKS Bobrzanie Bolesławiec first team played against Śląsk II Wrocław. Little happened on the pitch in the first half. Neither team pushed the pace. Bolesławiec created its first dangerous move in the 21st minute. Paweł Rissmann shot towards the far corner, but the ball went wide of the visitors’ goal. In the 25th minute, Robert Kaźmierczak shot at the BKS goal, but Marek Przykłota saved the attempt. In the 35th minute, Bolesławiec took the lead. Łukasz Rudyk delivered a corner, and Błażej Rajchel headed the ball into the net.
Only in the second half did the fans see somewhat more interesting play. Śląsk attacked while BKS defended. Tomasz Rudolf and Kamil Bliński shot at Marek Przykłota’s goal, but the score did not change. In the 73rd minute, Bolesławiec had an excellent chance to score a second goal. Piotr Stańko, inside the visitors’ penalty area, received an accurate pass from Chrystian Serkies, but shot straight at the visiting goalkeeper. In the 85th minute, the visitors equalised. Robert Kaźmierczak beat Marek Przykłota. Five minutes later, the referee decided that Marek Kumoś had fouled a Wrocław player and awarded a penalty. Tomasz Rudolf stepped up and set the final score at 2–1 for Śląsk with a shot into the top corner. BKS suffered its sixth defeat, its fourth in a row, and dropped to fifth place in the league table. Our team still has two away matches to play. Next Saturday, BKS will face Orla Wąsosz, and in two weeks our players will play Nysa Zgorzelec.
