The match began on Friday, 26 October, at 6:00 p.m. Although the game was not a competition for league points, both teams treated it as a highly prestigious occasion. The sides played with their strongest line-ups, impressing with their focus and commitment to the game.

Interferie players gained the advantage from the opening minutes, dominating in every aspect of the game. At half-time, the Lubin side led 19–11. Miedź Legnica’s handball players failed to level the score, although the Lubin team’s advantage was reduced to five points (26–21). In the final 10 minutes, Miedź players performed less effectively, and the match ultimately ended in a 35–26 victory for Interferie.

Around 150 people cheered on the players. After the match, the event organisers—Gromadka Municipality Head Dariusz Pawliszczy and Bożena Kuchmacz, director of GOKiS in Gromadka—invited the players, referees and officials of both clubs to refreshments.
