The Boleslawiec.org service is introducing further changes with readers in mind. We are the first to present clear, transparent and intuitive rankings. You can already vote for the most effective councillor (of both the City Council and the County Council), your favourite restaurant, a chain of shops or the best footballer of BKS Bobrzanie Bolesławiec.
This is not the only new feature. With the assistance of the Towarzystwo Miłośników Bolesławca and the Museum of Ceramics, Boleslawiec.org has prepared a free archive of “Głos Bolesławca”, a newspaper published from 1992 to 1997. We are making more than 1,500 texts published in this popular periodical available to our readers.
“Głos Bolesławca” is a rich and colourful chronicle of the 1990s. It is a treasure trove of knowledge about those times, Bolesławiec and its residents during the first years of the Third Polish Republic. There, Dear Readers, you will find texts devoted to the culture and history of the city and county, as well as sport and economics. Admirers of our city’s history, researchers, former enthusiasts of “Głos...” and everyone interested in our new offering will certainly be pleased to learn that the archive has been designed to make it as convenient to use as possible. Our service’s search engine will ensure efficient browsing of selected articles.
We will inform you about further changes soon. We are also waiting for additional suggestions, including proposals for further rankings. We invite you to use our service.
