The players of UKS “Volley” made a successful start to this year’s competition—with as many as two victories. Last Saturday, the Bolesławiec team played a Third Women’s League match in Oława. Waldemar Kowalski’s players won confidently, 3:1 (22:25, 25:20, 25:8 and 25:11), and effectively allowed their opponents to put up an even fight only in the first two sets. Our players were better in every aspect of the volleyball craft. The scores in the final two sets, which they won to 8 and to 11, testify to this. “Volley” played this match with: Anna Prytycka, Martyna Ochocka (libero), Anna Kowalska, Marta Wojdyła, Sylwia Michalska, Anna Kowalska, Magda Kozłowska, Joanna Naglik, Urszula Bachusz and Dominika Mienculewicz.
On Sunday, 7 October, the Bolesławiec players also gave their opponents no chance to play their game. In a Cadet League match played in Bolesławiec, they comfortably defeated MKS Olimpia Jawor 3:0 (25:15, 25:13, 25:10). Our volleyball players earned a deserved victory in the following lineup: Magda Kozłowska, Joanna Naglik, Anna Kowalska, Marta Wojdyła, Sylwia Michalska, Anna Kowalska, Martyna Ochocka (libero), as well as Dominika Mienculewicz, Urszula Bachusz, Ewelina Węgrzanowska, Kamila Duru and Patrycja Dopieralska.
