Last week, the International Qualifying Tournament for People with Disabilities in Table Tennis was held in the German city of Wuppertal. The tournament featured a strong field. More than 300 players from Europe, the USA, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and China took part. Waldemar Krzemiński put in a successful performance at the tournament. In his category, the TOP Bolesławiec player finished ninth.
The pair of Waldemar Krzemiński and Mirosław Kowalski finished fourth, losing after an exciting match to the Swedes, the reigning European Championship bronze medallists. The players from Bolesławiec proved that they are serious contenders in table tennis. Our players defeated several higher-ranked opponents. In October, Waldemar Krzemiński will take part in the European Championships, which will be held in Kranjska Gora, Slovenia.
