The 16th Bolesławiec Three-Day Sports Bridge Tournament has come to an end. More than 120 players from across Poland took part in the three-day competition. Four tournaments were contested. The players of the Bolesławiec Bridge Club performed very well. In the first tournament, for the Jan Cołokidzi Puchar, Bolesławiec pairs took first, second and third place.
Antoni Ochot and Artur Winkler won, ahead of Jerzy Cychowski and Eugeniusz Małecki, as well as Henryk Milicz and Franciszek Sromek. Antoni Ochot and Artur Winkler once again won the Krzysztof Dołharz Memorial Tournament. As part of the Congress, the International Lower Silesian Team Championships were held. The Bolesławiec team, consisting of Sławomir Zimniak, Wiesław Tabiszewski, Krzysztof Grela and Tadeusz Kowalik, finished in third place.
The pair of Krzysztof Grela and Tadeusz Kowalik performed excellently in the tournament for the Mayor of Bolesławiec Cup, taking second place. In the overall standings, Artur Winkler finished the competition in third place, behind Marek Markowski and Robert Księżopolski from Wrocław.
