On Wednesday, BKS Bobrzanie Bolesławiec hosted Prochowiczanka Prochowice at the stadium on Spółdzielcza Street. From the opening minutes, the Bolesławiec team dictated the pace of the game. In the 7th minute, Tomasz Jasiński shot from 17 metres. The Prochowiczanka goalkeeper caught the ball confidently. In the following minutes, both teams fought mainly in midfield. The quick passing and well-constructed attacks pleased the fans. In the 15th minute—after a set piece—Krzysztof Szymański headed the ball. The Bolesławiec player’s shot was inaccurate. A minute later, Marcin Ogórek crossed into the penalty area. Chrystian Serkies headed the ball, but it narrowly missed the left post.
During the next quarter of an hour, the visitors came into the game. In the 25th minute, the guests took a corner. After confusion in the BKS penalty area, Wojciech Wawryk shot, but Marek Przykłota was in position. In the 28th minute, the Bolesławiec team took the lead. The scoring move began with a free kick taken by Marek Kumoś. After an uncertain clearance by the visitors, Łukasz Rudyk reached the ball and beat the hesitantly intervening Łukasz Skierski with a fine shot. In the 35th minute, BKS could already have been 2–0 ahead. This time, Łukasz Rudyk took the free kick, but Krzysztof Szymański mishit the accurately delivered ball.
The second half began with sustained attacks from the visitors. In the 62nd minute, Marek Przykłota saved a header. BKS dropped back into its own half and defended skillfully. The visitors attacked and created serious danger for the Bolesławiec goalkeeper. A series of corners for the guests could have raised the blood pressure of the Bolesławiec fans. In the 70th minute, the visitors scored, but the referee disallowed the goal, ruling that the player had been offside. The visitors’ attacks continued until the 75th minute. BKS then launched an effective counterattack, which Łukasz Rudyk finished with a superb shot. As with the first goal, the Prochowiczanka goalkeeper had the ball in his hands but could not hold on to it. Toward the end of the match, the players began to play nervously. There were many fouls. BKS Bobrzanie Bolesławiec defeated Prochowiczanka Prochowice 2–0.
