Czesław Matyjewicz is a graduate of the Wrocław Academy of Fine Arts. He works in small sculptural forms, using materials such as stone and ceramics. Since 1996, he has been an instructor of drawing and sculpture at the BOK studio.
The artist participates in International Ceramic and Sculpture Workshops and is also the commissioner of a youth sculpture workshop, which has been organised at the Bolesławiec Cultural Centre for the past eight years. He has presented his works individually and collectively at numerous exhibitions. During this year's Festival of Ceramics, his sculptures could be admired at Kliczków Castle. Last Saturday, the current exhibition accompanied the inauguration of the AGH academic year.
