Filming for Przemysław Filipowicz’s latest film is scheduled for September. The working title of this short film project is “Portrait of Ewa.” The filmmakers (including Boleslawiec.org, once again serving as producer) invite everyone interested in actively taking part in the film’s creation. Actors, a production manager, makeup artists, lighting technicians, sound technicians and others are needed. If you feel that working in film is something you really want to do, join us. Przemysław Filipowicz’s most recently completed project is a documentary about the recently deceased Piotr Sudół, a collector of dry bread. “Mr. Bread,” as the documentary was titled, recently received the Grand Prize in the Off Cinema Competition at the 13th Edition of the Toruń Film Festival. The film was also recognized and received awards at festivals in Bielsko-Biała, Konin, Ustka and Bydgoszcz. The documentary about Piotr Sudół will soon be available to watch on our website.
Boleslawiec.org supports young creators and helps build culture at the highest level. To date, the portal has co-organized several art exhibitions and produced several films. This year, the portal’s editor-in-chief, Krzysztof Gwizdała, together with Grażyna Ferensowicz, prepared a series of film portraits, including one of the recently deceased well-known Bolesławiec resident and artist, Jolanta Ajlikow-Czarnecka. The premiere of the recently completed documentaries will take place on 24 August at 7:00 p.m. at the Orzeł cinema of the Bolesławiec Cultural Centre.
