On Saturday, the First Beach Volleyball Tournament was held at the Water and Sports Centre on Spacerowa Street. The tournament was organised by the Municipal Sports and Recreation Centre as part of the Open Bolesławiec Championships. Twenty-three teams took part in the competition. Representatives of Jelenia Góra, Zielona Góra, Wrocław, Legnica and Wałbrzych came to Bolesławiec. The competition counts towards the Lower Silesian Championships series.
In the men's category, the Ecotel team, consisting of Krzysztof Baran and Patryk Baran, won. Michał Leśniowski and Mateusz Leśniowski from the Polanica-Wrocław team took second place. Tymoteusz Gajek and Krzysztof Zdrzałka from the Gajki-Wałbrzych team took third place.
In the cadet category, the Mikasa team, consisting of Tomasz Pawlik and Marcin Lelek, won. Marcin Czarniecki and Kamil Biczak from the GS No. 3 team took second place. Paweł Wiatrowski and Paweł Markowski from the Banda Łysego team finished third.
