On Sunday afternoon, a St. John’s Eve Festival was organised in the park near the church in Kruszyn. Many attractions awaited the event’s guests. An artistic programme was presented by young people from Kraśnik Dolny, Kraśnik Górny and Kruszyn. A group from Żeliszów also performed.
The competitions and activities for children and adults were very popular. Adults searched for fern flowers, carefully hidden in the park, with beer awaiting the winners, while children searched for hidden lollipops. The demonstration of fighting and restraint techniques by students of the “Kobra” School of Security Services from Jelenia Góra made a strong impression on the audience.
During the festival, visitors could enjoy food from the culinary stalls. They could sample, among other things, homemade pierogi and roasted meat, and have cake for dessert. The festival ended with a dance party. The event was organised by the Municipal Culture and Sports Centre in Bolesławiec, based in Kruszyn.
