Throughout the event, tourists visiting the summit of Śnieżka will be able to see exhibitions and presentations—including multimedia displays—showcasing the qualities of the city and its surroundings, as well as Bolesławiec’s achievements in every area of social and economic life. Painters, sculptors and ceramic artists associated with Bolesławiec will present their work. Concerts by musicians associated with Bolesławiec will also take place, both during the day and at night.
The performers will be: Obstawa Prezydenta; a trio consisting of Jurek Styczyński from the band Dżem, Anika and Bartek Miarka; The Twisters; Sugar Free; 59-700 Quartet; Bez Znieczulenia; and Margines, the band hosting this year’s Blues nad Bobrem Festival. Saturday’s headline act will be Piotr Baron Quartet. Concerts will begin every day at 1:00 p.m. and continue until late at night. The event serves not only to promote the city, but also two major events to be held in Bolesławiec in August this year: the Blues nad Bobrem Festival Final, scheduled for August 6–14, and the Bolesławiec Ceramics Festival, scheduled for August 17–19, 2007. The organizers of the event on Śnieżka are: the Municipality of Bolesławiec, Bolesławiecki Ośrodek Kultury, the Blues nad Bobrem Association and the Na Śnieżce Restaurant.
