Provincial Police Commander Inspector Arkadiusz Golanowski appointed Deputy Inspector Dariusz Borski as first deputy district police chief. Police officers and employees of the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec attended the ceremonial assembly. Since 7 March this year, Deputy Inspector Dariusz Borski had been performing the duties of deputy chief of the Bolesławiec police. He is now officially the deputy of Inspector Henryk Stefanko.
Inspector Arkadiusz Golanowski emphasized that Deputy Inspector Dariusz Borski knows the specific nature of the area and the needs of the residents of Bolesławiec County very well, which is of great importance for the proper performance of police duties.
Deputy Inspector Borski is a graduate of Zielona Góra University of Technology and the Police Academy in Szczytno. He has served in the police for 25 years. Since 1998, he held managerial positions, and since 2000 he had been head of the Criminal Investigation Department at the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec. In 2005, he was awarded the Bronze Cross of Merit, and in 2011 he received the Bronze Badge of Merit for Police Officers.
