Since the establishment of the Bolesławiec Municipal Police, the competition has held an important place in the annual schedule of educational events. Prizes for the winning teams were funded by the Mayor of Bolesławiec Piotr Roman Piotr Roman, who assumed honorary patronage of the event. In addition, the purchase of the prizes was co-financed by the Towarzystwo Budownictwa Społecznego in Bolesławiec and the Miejski Zakład Gospodarki Mieszkaniowej in Bolesławiec.

Traditionally, teams from fourth-, fifth- and sixth-grade classes at primary schools competed in the event, with 18 teams in total. As in previous editions, the competition consisted of three parts. The first involved completing a multiple-choice test containing 22 questions on safety. The second required participants to complete a course in the traffic town while observing the applicable regulations. The third tested the participants’ knowledge of first aid.

The organizers extend their immense thanks to Maria Subik, head of Gimnazjum Samorządowe No. 2 named after Poles Deported to Siberia, and the school’s staff, as well as to Anna Tarnachowicz for preparing and evaluating the first-aid tasks.
