GKS Warta Bolesławiecka secured its second consecutive victory in the Lower Silesian fourth division. After an away win against Włókniarz Mirsk (2–0), GKS collected another three points. This time, Krzysztof Kaliciak's players comfortably defeated Orkan Szczedrzykowice. Saturday's match ended 4–0 (1–0). GKS's goals were scored by: Adrian Biały (2) — the 34th and 52nd minutes, Damian Puzio — the 58th minute, and Alek Bernat — the 68th minute. The visitors played a poor match. In the first half, the fans saw plenty of battling in the middle of the pitch, but little came of it. At the start of the second half, Orkan tried at all costs to equalize, but GKS was more clinical and scored goals. The visitors' shots were either too weak or off target.
A victory over the table's second-placed team is doubly satisfying. It looks as though Warta Bolesławiecka have finally turned a corner and the worst is now behind them. Warta's players made no secret of their joy after the match. Will GKS record a third victory next week? In round 11, Krzysztof Kaliciak's team will face Nysa Zgorzelec.
